Our Story

Paros, nestled within the Cyclades island cluster, seamlessly blends contemporary and traditional elements in a one-of-a-kind fusion. This island is a harmonious amalgamation of the classic Cycladic architectural charm, vibrant nightlife, pristine beaches, captivating rural hamlets, and historic landmarks.

When it comes to gastronomy, Paros is renowned for its abundance of exquisite herbs, capers, vegetables, olive oil, and wine. Many of these island treasures find their way into our kitchen, where we utilize them to marinate our meats and elevate the flavors of our salads.

 

My Journey

Paros Island holds a special place in our hearts, as it's where we spent our formative years. The island, nestled in Greece, was a place where everything, especially the food, exuded excellence. In 2014, I embarked on a new chapter by coming to England. I diligently pursued my studies, working tirelessly to lay the foundation for what would become a dream realized.

In 2020, the idea of opening a Greek Restaurant in Newcastle took root. Armed with years of experience in the realms of hospitality and management, as well as strong connections with Greek suppliers spanning both the UK and Greece, we set our sights on this venture. December 2020 marked the moment we turned our vision into a reality.

Our doors officially swung open on February 15, 2021, initially catering exclusively through deliveries during the initial months, adhering to pandemic-related restrictions. As the world gradually emerged from the grip of COVID-19, we embraced summer 2021 with open arms, officially unveiling our establishment to the public.

Since then, our journey has been one of bustling activity as we've had the pleasure of sharing our delectable cuisine with locals and visitors from near and far. Every day, our experienced Chef meticulously crafts our dishes, infusing them with the artful techniques and flavors of Greek and Mediterranean gastronomy. The result? A symphony of aromas and tastes that delight the senses.

Our commitment to culinary excellence extends to our daily specials, curated by our dedicated Chef. We've thoughtfully selected an array of Greek wines to complement our menu. And for those who fancy a cocktail, we've crafted a tantalizing list. Of course, we also offer a selection of spirits and beers, as we are a fully licensed restaurant.
